Client:

Our client started as a platform for guided audio walks and now spans more than 50 destinations, offering high-end guided audio tours for curious travelers.

They are now building the next evolution of our product: The Personal Tour Guide — audio walks created on demand based on the users’ preferences anywhere in the world. Their goal is simple but ambitious: a personal tour guide that understands your surroundings deeply and can guide you through it in real time.

Position:

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will work closely with the CEO to shape technical strategy and product direction, while building and scaling real-world AI-powered systems in a fast-moving startup environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to improving and evolving the core architecture as the product matures

• Migrate AI logic from frontend to backend

• Design a reliable system for AI-driven generation that can be configured by non-technical stakeholders

• Contribute to the database transition while supporting architectural decisions during the merge of legacy and new systems.

• Improve, stabilize and strengthen an existing product

• Balance fast prototyping with deliberate, high-quality production engineering

Your Profile:

• 5+ years of proven industry experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular

• Solid backend development experience with Node.js, preferably using Firebase

• Practical experience building AI-powered systems, including API integration, orchestration, and failure handling

• Comfortable and proactive in using AI tools for coding (e.g. Cursor or similar)

• Experience building products from the ground up, from initial concept to production

Nice to Have:

• Experience with the Firebase ecosystem (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Authentication, Notifications, App Distribution, etc.)

• Mobile development experience using Ionic / Capacitor
